• Your Lady Leopards Volleyball is at North Central Middle this week on Monday, September 18th and then back home to take on Fairfield Tuesday, September 19th. Then on Thursday, September 21st your Lady Leopards travel to Fairfield. Start time for all three matches is 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING TO FAIRFIELD you will need to purchase your tickets in advance at Gofan.co. Please park in our main parking lot and walk around and enter through the rear of the building at the gym entrance. Parking for those needing wheelchair access can park adjacent to the gym. No strollers in the building, please. Don’t forget about our district clear bag policy at all KCSD events, not just athletics. FAIRFIELD ALSO HAS A CLEAR BAG POLICY. Clear bags can be purchased at the LEMS office.
• Your Mighty Leopard Football team is away this week against Camden Middle School Wednesday, September 20th at Zemp Stadium for a game that starts at 5:30 p.m. Don’t forget about our district clear bag policy at all KCSD events, not just athletics. Clear bags can be purchased at the LEMS office.
• Pelican’s Snoballs is in town Tuesday and Wednesday during recess. Bring your money for a cool refreshing treat!
• Parents are reminded of the KCSD policy that all elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult, that is 21 years or older, at all KCSD high school events.
• Parents, Monday of this week is the final grade level session where we will be educating our students on the dangers and health concerns that come with vaping. These educational sessions are led by our local ALPHA Center through our school counselors and will be attended by all of our students present on the days of sessions. You can reach out to the ALPHA Center of Camden if you need any information on counseling or education sessions on tobacco, vaping, drugs, and alcohol.
• LE High School Boys Varsity and JV Soccer will have an interest meeting Friday, September 22nd in the stadium at 3:45 pm and is open to all 7th and 8th graders interested in playing.

• Hey parents! The district is still looking for bus drivers! You can contact Mr. Clinton at 803-438-8017 to inquire and apply.
• Kelly Services is looking for substitute teachers to assist in our schools. This is a constant need in our schools throughout the district. You can contact Curtis Price at our school district office at 803-432-8416 and ask to speak to him directly if you are interested in serving our KCSD students this year and next year.

• Parents of 7th graders, please remember that TdAP vaccinations must be completed by the 30th calendar day of the school year. You can contact Nurse Crane if you have any questions.
• Students and parents please be aware that we are experiencing supply issues with our cafeteria menus. We will update menus as we know what has changed. Thank you for your patience as we work through these issues with our suppliers.
• Parents do not forget, we begin unloading buses and cars at 7:15 a.m. Please do not drop off students prior to 7:15 as we are unable to provide supervision prior to that time. Our instructional day begins at 7:45 a.m. everyday except Wednesdays (8:25 a.m.) and the end of our instructional day is 3:00 p.m. everyday. Students need to be in class prior to our instructional start times each day. Thank you for your cooperation.
• Parents of car riders, be reminded to drop off and pick up your students in the car rider loops only. It is unsafe for students to move between cars and to cross the street during this very busy time of day. This also includes on the roadside adjacent to the baseball field. Safety first!
