If your child needs a winter coat, we still have several in sizes 4/5 through 18. Please email llatoria@winchendonk12.org or check with your child's school building nurse.

District Wide Information

Upcoming Dates:

  • Friday, October 7: No School for Students
  • Monday, October 10: No School - Columbus Day
  • Wednesday, October 26: Half Day for Students (Lunch will be served)
  • Thursday, October 6: School Committee Meeting
  • Saturday, October 15, 9am-2pm: Town Wide Clean Up

To Volunteer:

If you'd like to volunteer at your child's school, please ensure you have an updated Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) on file with the district. These must be done in person at Central Office, 175 Grove Street, and a valid ID must be presented.

MEMORIAL PRE-K UPDATES

The Winchendon Pre-K Program welcomed students for their first day on Monday, September 12. Please remember to be patient with arrival and dismissal. Parents can contact Kathy at the Pre-K office at 978-297-3436 or kbrooks@winchendonk12.org with any questions.

Communication Tips

Our ParentSquare app and email system is the most effective way to provide and receive information. Please make sure you download the app to your phone and verify that you are receiving the emails. This system provides you with the direct information that the district and school are sharing as soon as it is posted. If you are NOT getting ParentSquare messages, contact Martha by calling the office or emailing her at mmacewen@winchendonk12.org.

Memorial PTO Wants You!

Memorial PTO is looking to fill positions.

PTO has had a couple people already reach out so Thank You so much!! We working to making sure we have a full committee of volunteers who will make the many aspects of the organization work so we have a successful year for OUR KIDS! They deserve it and the efforts of the PTO are what make the activities, fundraisers, assemblies and monthly gatherings happen. Please consider volunteering.

Team Devil Bots Wants You!

Are you the kind of person who enjoys the challenge of building something from scratch? Do you enjoy the thrill of fast paced competition against other people? If so, the Murdock Robotics team needs you! Join Team Devil Bots to design, build, and compete in the regional robotics competition. The team is open to everyone – no experience needed. Meetings are Tuesdays after school until 3:00 in the robotics lab on the first floor at the end of the hall of the main office. The first team meeting of the year is Tuesday. Any questions, contact Mr. Collins.

SAT AND PSAT TESTS

On Wednesday, October 12th we will administer the SAT test to all 12th graders and the PSAT to all 11th graders. The test will take place from approximately 7:30 to 11:00. It is very important that students attend school and arrive on time as there is no make up date for the test.

The test is free for all students.

Parking Permits for 22-23 School Year

Parking Permits for students will be issued and monitored by School Resource Officer Flagg. A copy of the permit is attached below, and they are also available in the main office. All students who will be driving to school must fill out an updated permit application, even if they filled it out last year.
