Research Tips
How to be a Google image search guru!
Keywords are effective!
For example, instead of just putting in the word 'dogs' try a specific type of dog, like a corgi.
Note: Only put relevant keywords afterwards not small words (such as and, the, or)
Filter!
1 Click on 'Tools'
2 Five options will appear - size, color, type, time and usage rights.
Use these to find specifically what you are looking for.
Have an image... but can't remember where it came from?
When you do a reverse image search you are searching for the image rather than keywords. You can then backtrack to finding the source of the image. [See video below]
Important note!
Referencing Tips
Look out for the word or icon - 'Cite'
Often in databases, there is the option (when you click on an article / resource) the word / icon of 'cite' exists either at the top or on the right-hand side. Click on the word / icon and choose APA. Here will be a relatively perfect APA end-text reference that you can include in your notes!
[See image below from AllSearch]

Note: If using a direct quote from a book, use the page number. If using a quote from a website, using the paragraph number.
Note 2: It is also important to put the quote in quotation marks to indicate which are the source's words.
