2021-22 SCS DISTRICT OPERATING PROCEDURES
MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MR. GLENN OLESICK, HEAD CUSTODIAN AT EARLY LEARNING PRESCHOOL
Mr. Glenn Olesick, a 1986 graduate of Strongsville High School, has worked in our District full time since 1995. He has spent time in nearly every one of our buildings, and is currently the Head Custodian for the Early Learning Preschool.
“The best part of my day is greeting our kids when they arrive at school,” said Mr. Olesick. “Out of all the buildings I’ve worked in throughout our District, I’ve enjoyed the Early Learning Preschool the most. The kids and parents are great, and I love working with our teachers and staff.”
“Our custodial team is a really good group. We all work together and pitch in to help wherever it’s needed. It’s a fantastic team.”
Thank you Mr. Olesick for your dedication to our District and for your support of students and staff at the Early Learning Preschool! #WeAreStrongsville
3=FREE FOR LUNCHES THROUGHOUT OUR DISTRICT
Did you know that students who pack their lunch can still receive FREE food items at school? Even if you are sending your student to school with food from home, they are still able to receive a fruit, vegetable, and milk for FREE! It's convenient and saves money for families - just pack the main item for lunch and let SCS Food Services take care of the rest!

SHS MOCK TRIAL TEAM ADVANCES TO REGIONAL COMPETITION
Congratulations to our SHS Mock Trial teams, one of which has advanced to regional competition. The teams have persevered and shown great resilience through virtual competitions and COVID restrictions. Instead of an exciting trip to the historic old courthouse downtown, meeting and competing with other students from across Cuyahoga County, Mock Trial competed from an SHS classroom on Zoom in a very different environment than past competitions. Team 2 is also to be recognized, working just as hard, but unable to advance in the competition. Special thanks to Mrs. Papish, SHS Mock Trial Advisor and Social Studies Department Chairperson.
SHS Ohio Mock Trial Regional Competition Qualifiers (TEAM I): Rahul Sanghvi, Sanjana Katiyar, Anaya Daryapurkar, Aoife McLaughlin, Navya Chauhan, Fritz Micko, Sophia Kuhar
SHS Ohio Mock Trial District Competitors (Team II): Aryan Parikh, Sydney Meyer, Mridulaa Badri, Rollie Stephens, Amanda Shaffer, Emily Hoy
