Junior Guidance
Junior Parents and Guardians,
Counselors are meeting with juniors during Advisory on January 9th during Eagle Time. We will cover the topics of Graduation Requirements, the college admissions process and SAT/ACT testing. HERE is the link to the presentation if you would like to review it. College applications will open for current juniors on July 1. The BEST thing your junior can do right now is to visit colleges, in person if possible, or virtually if that is the only option available. We encourage the juniors to register and take the SAT/ACT this spring. More information can be found in the presentation.
If your junior would like more information about the college application process, scholarships or career searches, please encourage them to make an appointment with our college counselor, Mrs. Alicia Schulze. Her office is located in The NEST and her email address is amschulze@collin.edu
We will be meeting with juniors between February 13th through Feb. 22nd to discuss their transcript and course selections for their Senior year.
Digital SAT Practice Test
Registered students must bring their school issued chromebooks with them as well as an approved calculator. This is open to any high school student in Prosper ISD but seats are limited. They can register to take this practice test using "My School Bucks" starting 12/1/2023.

Important Information
How to Check Your Student Out of School
All check-outs must be submitted through Skyward WITH AT LEAST 2 HOURS NOTICE prior to a student being picked up or released. When submitting a partial-day request, you must uncheck the all-day box and enter the time the student needs to leave the school. Partial-day requests entered as full days will automatically be denied. If we do not receive your request at least 2 hours prior to your students' check-out time or if the request is entered in Skyward after 2:00 p.m., it will be denied, and a parent, guardian, or emergency contact will need to come into the front office to check the student out of school. When doing so, a government-issued I.D. must be provided. Please follow the instructions on the following link: https://www.prosper-isd.net/Domain/1034
