Fall Parent Teacher Conferences

Please plan to register for parent-teacher conferences online, using Meet the Teacher, beginning at 8:00 am on Monday, 10/10. Fall conferences will take place on Wednesday, October 19 (4 pm-8 pm) and Thursday, October 20 (1 pm-7 pm).

Register for Family Bingo Night

We are getting excited for Hough’s Family Bingo Night on Friday, October 14. Please register here by Thursday, October 13. Parents of middle and high schoolers - if your teenager is looking for service hours, please contact Bridget Winkler at bridgetcwinkler@gmail.com, as there are volunteer opportunities at Bingo Night.

Elementary School Cross Country (XC) Meet

The district-wide XC meet will take place on Monday, October 17 (rain date 10/18) at Ron Beese Park (50 Rotary Drive). All elementary students (K-5th) are encouraged to participate or come and cheer on the Hough Hawk runners. Hough spiritwear (and cowbells) are encouraged. The events are as follows:

Course walk will take place at 4:00 pm
Fifth-grade mile (girls) will begin at 4:30 pm
Fifth-grade mile (boys) will begin at 4:45 pm
Elementary (K-4th grade) half-mile (boys/girls) will begin at 5:00 pm
Awards will follow the final race

1st & 2nd Grade Fit Factory

We are calling first and second-grade students who love being active with their friends! Hough’s “Fit Factory” is about to begin! Join us for a 5-week course of high-energy games, fitness challenges, and fun in the gym after school from 2:45-3:30. First graders will meet on Mondays beginning 10/17, and second graders will meet on Thursdays beginning 10/13. Registration is open to the first 30 students (in each grade).
