Attendance Matters
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school – and themselves. By prioritizing good student attendance, you are sending a strong message that education is important to you and to your child’s future. Attendance Counts! All day, every school day!
January Attendance Challenge
Congratulations to Mrs. Sanchez' class for winning our January Attendance Challenge. As a class, they had over 97% rate. All of the students in the class that were at school on Friday, were able to silly string Mrs. Nelson, Ms. Dez and Dr. Fox.
Asset Management Superintendent's Advisory Committee
As part of phase 2, Redefine, we are redefining what success looks like for our students, staff, families, and community. Part of this process includes assessing our facilities to ensure that our sites are running efficiently and aligned with the needs of the community we serve. To assist with this goal, the District is establishing a Superintendent’s Advisory Committee (SAC) to serve in an advisory role to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees.
The purpose of the SAC is to evaluate and determine with a student-centric focus the most efficient ways to continue to operate the District’s school site facilities. In collaboration with an outside consulting firm (EH&A/MGT), the SAC will develop and evaluate numerous options on how to more efficiently use the District’s school sites to meet the needs of students and staff.
The SAC will meet several times over the next few months to develop a recommendation for the future use of school site facilities. This recommendation will be presented to the Board at a Special Board Meeting for a final decision sometime in the late spring.

El SAC se reunirá varias veces durante los próximos meses para desarrollar una recomendación para el uso futuro de las instalaciones del sitio escolar. Esta recomendación se presentará a la Junta en una reunión especial de la Junta para una decisión final a fines de la primavera.
