  • Seniors and Senior Families: there will be a "informational graduation letter" sent out on Tuesday, April 11th, be on the lookout for the letter
  • BOE Meeting: April 11th @ 6PM
  • PTO Meeting: April 20th @ 6pm
  • 3rd Quarter Progress Report April 21st - last eligibility check before end of the year!
  • Please check your student's lunch balances and make sure payments are sent in to Ms. Kathy!
  • Spring Testing (EOC/MAP Testing) will start April 18th and run through May
  • Make sure to stay in the loop and updated on school activities throughout the month by checking the school website and socials! #HawkPride

Chaz Lindsay has been the top golfer as of late, scoring 43-47-47 in the first three golf meets, and taking 3rd place in the meet at Van-Far on 4/5!

Clopton Correspondent for KJFM - Austin Jolly

As you may have seen recently on KJFM, Austin Jolly has become our new correspondent for "The Eagle 102 at KFJM". Austin will be providing previews, scores and updates throughout our halls here at Clopton! We thank him for his efforts and look forward to reading his work!

Freshman Orientation

It is that time of year again for students to start making their class schedule for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As your student plans for high school we would like to provide you with the most up to date information on the requirements for graduation, what courses are offered at Clopton, and how to create your student's individual career and academic plan (ICAP). Ms. Raines will be holding a Freshman Orientation Meeting on Thursday, April 27th, at 6:00pm in the school cafeteria to help your child plan a course schedule to meet their academic and career goals.


We will also discuss what clubs, organizations, and other academic opportunities your child has here at Clopton. If you are unable to attend this date, we can set up an appointment to discuss this information with you individually. Please let Ms. Raines know if you have any questions!

We want to wish our students well as they prepare for State FBLA! Shana Yates, Carlyn Lockard, Holden Straube, Campbell Lindsay, Chase Hall, Lauren Blackwell, Austin Jolly, Kain Eivins, Josh Harvey, and Gracey Maclaughlin qualify for state competition in April.

Attention HS Students and/or Staff: Apply for Summer Custodial Work

CLOPTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND STAFF INTERESTED IN WORKING THIS SUMMER FOR THE DISTRICT AS A CUSTODIAN, PLEASE APPLY BY THE FOLLOWING PROCESS BELOW:


  • Fill out an application, if this is the first time you are applying. If you would like to return, please submit a letter of interest to the Superintendent’s office. Applications may be printed off of the website or picked up in the Superintendent’s office.
  • Application/Letter of Interest Deadline - 12:00 noon on May 5, 2023 to the Superintendent’s office.
  • Must have acceptable grades and attendance.
  • Work schedule - 40 hours/week; 4 or 5 day week depending on crew.


***There will be a limited number of positions available.
