Parent Partnership Remote Edition: Parent Wellness and Mental Health
General concerns and anxieties can be difficult to manage during the best of situations, but what happens when you are trying to manage them during a pandemic? Learn about the range of mental health for children and adults and practice strategies to effectively respond to stress and engage in wellness.
This evening will be facilitated by our School Social Worker, Sarah Healy, LSSW, CWSA
with a Guest Speaker from The Parent Support Network of Beaverton, Kaari Tattar.

Upcoming SEL Lessons:
Kindergarten:
12/2 Seesaw Only, 12/9 Live Zoom Lesson
Kindergarten will continue to talk about The Zones of Regulation and feelings they have in their brain and body. Kindergarteners will learn how to recognize their feelings and work to identify a strategy to match what they need!
1st and 2nd Grade:
12/2 Seesaw Only, 12/9 Live Zoom Lesson
1st and 2nd grade students will be learning about stereotypes and how to recognize and challenge stereotypes. Students will learn that making assumptions about people can prevent them from getting to know someone and understanding who they really are.
3rd-5th Grade:
12/2 Live Zoom Lesson, 12/9 Seesaw Only
3rd through 5th grade students will be focusing on communication. They will be learning about communication "bloopers" and " boosters" to foster effective and respectful communication in their interactions with others.

We know this time of year is tough, and with the state-wide "freeze" happening over the holidays it can feel overwhelming at times.
