A Message From the Principal - "Fall" into Learning
Dear State Street Families,
Can you believe it is almost September? It feels like just yesterday it was summer break! Time flies when you're having fun! Speaking of fun--we have our Annual Fun Run this Friday, August 30th on the track during our grade level specials time. Students will be competing to see which class can get the most laps combined to win our trophy and a class party! Students will individually receive Starbucks for each lap they run. Please be sure you send your student to school this Friday with their best running shoes so they can earn all those Starbucks! We appreciate the support of our Specials Teachers--MUSIC: Ms. Donaldson, Mr. Jacobs and PE--Ms. Cashier and Mr. Mitchell. We also appreciate our State Street PTO and their planning and preparation as well. We have also kicked off a fun week of our Annual Penny Wars! Each day, we announce our top three classes. Our students LOVE this fun competition. Please be sure to mark your calendar for Grandparents week, which will also be the week of our fall Book Fair--Sept 9-13. See our schedule below on when you can come and shop with your student! One last thing, speaking of fun at State Street--if you haven't been on our Facebook page, be sure to check out our Facebook Live from last Friday's House Reveal Party! Thank you to Ms. Anderson for capturing the footage and excitement from all of our students and teachers! Even though we are 4 Houses, we are ONE FAMILY!
We love your students and we are so happy to see them each and every day!
If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Paige Roberts
