From Mrs. Roberts, "Harvesting Success: Celebrating Our Students This October"
We are excited to host all of you for our annual Parent Teacher conferences this Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday, conferences will kick off at 4:00 and go until 8:00. There is no school on Thursday, so teachers can meet with parents between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Please be sure to reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a conference if you have not already done so. We have a lot of data and information to share with all families since completing quarter 1. We want to stay connected with all of our families and continue to find ways to provide support as needed. We wanted to share a friendly reminder to make sure that you do not park on personal property or block anyone's driveway at arrival and dismissal. We've had some neighbors call with concerns and we want to help keep you from getting notified by the police. Don't forget that next Thursday is our annual Halloween parade. We will start right at 2:30 pm. We will exit the side gate and walk around down Division toward Sumner and head down toward the front parking lot and door. We encourage families to line up along this route. We have such a huge turnout every single year and love getting to see everyone come out to support. Teachers will communicate party information to parents directly. Ms. Heineken will also host students who do not celebrate Halloween, just like she has done for the past several years.
Enjoy this beautiful weather! Don't forget to read 20 min every night with your student and log in Beanstack so they can earn their lanyard tag!
Please let us know how we can help support you!
Sincerely,
Paige Roberts

WE need your help to keep our Students and Staff SAFE
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We kindly remind you that student drop-off on Sumner Street is strictly prohibited. We have noticed parents stopping in no-parking zones to let students out immediately off the parking lot. This poses serious safety risks for our students and causes traffic congestion for other families using the designated drop-off line through the parking lot.
To ensure the safety of all children, please use the official drop-off line in the parking lot. Parents found in violation could be subject to a $300 fine by the police.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.
We kindly remind you that our buses are unloading and loading on the north side of State Street on Division St. During this time, buses will activate their stop arms to signal traffic to stop for student safety. We ask everyone to remain alert and respect the stop signals to help keep all students safe during bus transitions.
Your continued support ensures our students can travel safely to and from school each day. Please remember that passing a bus with an activated stop arm may result in a fine. Thank you for your attention to this important matter!

We are here for our Students and Families
The mental health of students is a critical aspect of their overall well-being and academic success. Addressing emotional and psychological needs is essential in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel safe, understood, and equipped to handle challenges. By fostering open communication, providing access to resources, and promoting a culture of acceptance and understanding, schools can help students manage stress, build resilience, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Supporting mental health not only enhances academic performance but also contributes to healthier, more well-rounded individuals.
If you feel that your child needs additional support at school, please complete this brief questionnaire and one of our staff members will reach out to your student. MENTAL HEALTH or SALUD MENTAL
***Do not use this form for emergency situations. Response are only checked on school days and during school hours. Please call community resources for emergencies.***
