RMS 5th to 6th Grade RampED Up Ram Orientation; August 12 - 16, 2024; The orientation will run Monday through Friday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Ms. Follis, Middle School Principal, will continue to send you more details as we get closer to August 12 - 16, 2024.

Only students transitioning from 5th to 6th grade are eligible for this orientation.

• Students will participate in lessons that are guided by the Renaissance Leadership Curriculum.

• Support provided on how to use applications such as Genesis.

• Will be advancing students' proficiency in Google Apps for Education.

• Will be enhancing executive functioning skills ex. utilization of lockers, organizational techniques, the use of agendas, study skills...

RMS Enrichment Program August 19 - 23, 2024; The program will run Monday through Friday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Ms. Follis, Middle School Principal, will continue to send you more details as we get closer to August 19 - 23, 2024.
All RMS students are eligible to participate in this week-long enrichment program.

• Students will receive target-specific support on standards that have been identified as weaknesses on benchmark assessments. The goal is to provide additional support prior to entering the 2024 - 2025 school year in the identified areas.

• Enrollment and introduction to technology platforms such as No Red Ink, IXL, iReady, Common Lit will be provided.

• Additional leadership activities that focus on social-emotional learning using Renaissance Leadership Curriculum will occur.

The Riverside Township School District Administration and Staff are excited to welcome back students for the 2024-2025 school year. Please be aware that student schedules will be available on the Genesis Parent Portal platform as of August 19, 2024.

To access student schedules, parents need to complete the forms posted in Genesis. These forms include but are not limited to:

• 1:1 Chromebook Program- Student Guidelines
• Handbook Acknowledgement
• Photo release form - 1 form for Elementary and Middle School, two forms for High School
• Medical Information Form
• Online Free and Reduced Lunch Application
• Walking trips

You can find these forms on the Genesis Parent Portal platform under the forms tab. This tab can be found at the top of the page. The Student Handbook can be found in the quick links section on each school's designated website. Please ensure your contact information is current before you leave the program.

Please note that your mailing address can only be changed through the Central Registration office. Please contact Erika Johnson, Central Registrar 856-461-1255 x1196.

If you need to add a contact, add/delete a phone number, or add/remove pick-up permission, these can all be added or changed in the Genesis Parent Portal platform. After submitting any change, please allow 48-72 hours for the update to be reflected on your student's account.
