We have gotten off to a great start this year! Thank you to all our families for helping your student have a great start and getting back into the school routine. We have a busy month, beginning with Homecoming week next week.

HOMECOMING PARADE -

We will be attending the Homecoming Parade in Zumbrota at the High School beginning at 2:15 on Friday, Ocotber 4. Following the parade, students will be either walking or boarding buses to return home from Zumbrota. Those students who typically stay for Mazeppa time will return to Mazeppa by bus, then they will get on their bus, or walk from the Elementary School home. Students who attend Cougar Care will head to Cougar Care after the parade. Please make sure you have returned your form regarding what your child will do following the parade to your child's teacher by October 1. Please remember changes to what your child will be doing on that day will be very difficult to pass along, so if there is a change call the office before Noon. Because this is something new, there is a chance students boarding the buses may depart slightly earlier that usual from the Zumbrota site.

Lost and Found/Labeling items

Our lost and found area has been filling up fast. With some of the cooler mornings students have been comfortable in a sweatshirt, but too warm during recess. If you notice a missing sweatshirt remind you student to look in the lost and found areas. When possible, labeling items helps us find the owners of items much more quickly.
