Frequently Asked Questions About Commencement
How do we receive tickets?
Families will receive an email with a personalized code to claim their ticket on May 30, 2024. All tickets are DIGITAL.
How many tickets do we receive?
Each student receives 5 tickets for graduation. There are just under 1,100 graduates; it is important that we ensure each graduate has a fair opportunity of having guests present at this special event.
Tickets can only be scanned one time. Once inside the stadium, guests who leave will not be permitted to re-enter, so please make sure you have everything you need.
Security Measures and prohibited items:
Enhanced security measures are in place for the ceremony. Rigid containers including coolers, suitcases, large bags, glass containers, air horns, pets, folding chairs, weapons of any kind, or any other items deemed a risk by security staff will not be permitted in the stadium. Items must be left in your vehicle or surrendered to security staff.
Remember that smoking, vaping, and alcoholic beverages are never permitted on school property, including parking areas.You are encouraged NOT to bring bags of any kind. For assistance, guests can contact the North Penn School District security operations center at 215-853-1352.
What time do gates open for commencement?
4:30 pm!
Parking at NPHS
Limited parking is available in the main parking lot at North Penn High School. Off-site parking with shuttle service is available at Calvary Baptist Church (located at 1380 Valley Forge Rd), Family Worship Center (located at 1000 Troxel Road), and Inglewood Elementary School (located at 1313 Allentown Road). Parking for guests who have a valid handicapped placard is available at North Montco Technical Career Center located at 1265 Sumneytown Pike.
How can I receive a ticket for someone who has a disability or needs handicap access?
The renovated stadium is now handicap accessible! Seating is on a first come basis and the gates to the stadium will open at 4:30 pm. Anyone attending the ceremony will now be able to be seated in the stands.
Where is there handicap accessible parking?
Handicap accessible parking is available at North Montco Technical Career Center. Only those with a handicap placard will be able to park in that lot. Parking is on a first come basis and is limited to NMTCC lots.
When is graduation practice?
Graduation practice is on Monday, June 10, 2024 @ 8 am. Students should plan to arrive early to be seated and ready to begin. Attendance is mandatory, as this is it...graduation is here!
Where does my student pick up the Cap and Gown?
Cap and Gown distribution will occur at graduation practice, which will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024. Seniors must have ALL OBLIGATIONS cleared to receive their cap and gown. Seniors will be dismissed from school at the conclusion of practice.
Can we still order a Cap and Gown?
Seniors and senior families were asked to order a cap and gown throughout the year; the deadline for electronic order is past. However, if a student still needs a cap and gown, they should bring $30 cash to Graduation Practice (June 10, 2024) where additional cap and gowns will be available for purchase.
Is there a rain date?
The rain date for NPHS Class of 2024 Commencement is the Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 6 PM in Crawford Stadium.

Can graduates visit their elementary and middle schools with cap and gown?
Yes, but seniors MUST follow the visitation schedule below, set for June 10, 2024.
